Thornton Arms Pub was established in 2003 and is located in the plaza on the south east corner of Thornton and Rossland Road in Oshawa close to the Whitby border. We have a menu to suit everyone's appetite from breakfast, steaks, pastas and chicken dishes, sandwiches and wraps to a wide variety of appetizers.

Great little pub with some old school decor. Their website says their specialties are the wings, poutine, and grilled cheese/melts. I can definitely confirm that the grilled cheese is excellent! There's just the right amount of ooey gooey cheesy goodness in there. The server was also very friendly and welcoming and the prices are quite reasonable. Would definitely recommend a visit.
Homely place, knows what it wants to be. Beers cold, staff friendly, and food decent, been going for years and will continue to do so. Couple dart boards at the back, should you choose (and there's room).
Service was excellent and friendly. The food especially the fries was fantastic. Our new "go to" place. Thanks for a great meal.
